Yes, That Too
The stereotype that people with developmental disablities and/or autism are violent or have no self control. Sure, I get angry, but I don’t get violent or go shooting up places. Hell, I’m more afraid that people are going to hurt me or treat me badly than the other way around.

OH GOD THIS. THIS THIS THIS. It’s not even based in facts. 95% of homicides are done by people who do NOT have a mental illness and who are NOT developmentally disabled. That’s right, 95% done by people who are completely neurotypical. And yet we get stereotyped this way, we who are actually LESS likely to have done it.

Also, anyone want to mention the thing where a gunshot is a sudden loud noise? That’s not likely to go well with sensory processing issues, on a purely practical level. Logic, people, logic.
